Very Good (B+ to A): Near Sharp, due to age of video, or might be a 2nd Generation transfer from a Master, Pre-record or TV.
Good (B to B+): above average, Could be a 3rd Generation transfer, with a highly watchable picture. Could be little bit soft.
Fair (C to B-): a watchable picture, could be snowy or lack sharpness. less contrast.
Bad (D to C-): Very Soft and hard to watch, could be lots of Distortions.
For most of the films we offer we use the original out-of-print import laserdisc or pre-record. Some of the other videos, because of their rarity, coupled with unavoidable PAL or SECAM transfer distortions, are less than perfect.
