Caesar's invasion of Gallia: The Gauls have broken their treaty with

| Synopsis: Mark
Forest stars as Hercules in this sword-and-sandal affair from 1960
(its American release occured two years later). The film bears a
striking resemblance to the like-vintage Hercules Against the
Barbarians, right down to the choice of leading man. We suspect that
both films were excerpted from a longer Hercules epic, then released
separately to engender a higher box-office take. Oh, yes the plot:
Hercules takes on the three sons of Genghis Khan, quite a remarkable
feat for a superhero from ancient Greece. Jose Greci also appears in
this tribute to testosterone. |

| Synopsis: A
party of explorers in the Amazon jungle are captured by a tribe of
women, and learn that they are to be used as the tribe's "love
slaves." Don Taylor stars as a doctorakaadventurer who ventures into the
South America jungle with explorer Eduardo Cianelli. Taylor and
Cianelli stumble upon a race of green-skinned Amazon women, all of
whom look suspiciously like unemployed startlets. The Amazons are hold
white woman Gianna Segale captive as a good-luck fetish (shades of
Trader Horn). Some nice Brazilian location photography by Mario Page
lifts this nonsense above the usual perils-in-the-jungle syndrome. |

| Synopsis: A
king is murdered after his palace is invaded by rebels. In
desperation, the queen sends her baby into the wildnerness on
horseback to avoid capture by soldiers, before committing suicide. The
baby is found and reared by lions and grows into a strongman.
Eventually the man is discovered by a passing slave trader and his
presence becomes known to both the new, evil king and the rebels who
fight him. He falls in love with a slave girl, but their peace is
shattered when she is kidnapped by soldiers. He must team up with the
rebels to destroy the king and his guard. |
