Gemma) reist nach Theben, um Kadmos (Pedro Armendáriz) zu töten, der

Kadmos,
König von Theben, will nicht hinnehmen, was die Götter über ihn
verhängt haben. Als ihm eine Sibylle prophezeit, der künftige Mann
seiner Tochter werde ihn töten, erklärt er Zeus und die übrigen
Bewohner des Olymps kurzerhand für abgesetzt und verlangt von seinen
Untertanen, fortan nur noch ihn als Gott zu verehren. Prinzessin
Antiope wiederum soll überhaupt keinen Mann bekommen, sondern
Priesterin werden.
Natürlich kann sich Zeus so viel menschliche Unverschämtheit nicht
bieten lassen. Darum gibt er dem Titanen Crios eine Chance: Er und
seine Brüder, bei den Olympiern ebenfalls in Ungnade gefallen,
sollen ihre Freiheit wieder erhalten, wenn Crios den anmaßenden
Tyrannen vernichtet. Das muss mit List geschehen, da dem Herrscher
aus bestimmten Gründen mit Gewalt nicht beizukommen ist. Crios lässt
sich das nicht zweimal sagen und zieht gen Theben. Dort gibt er mit
einigen Bravourstücken Kostproben seiner Klugheit und Behändigkeit
und gewinnt dadurch das Vertrauen des Königs und seiner
verschlagenen Gemahlin Hermione. Ein erster Versuch, Kadmos in die
Unterwelt zu entführen, schlägt allerdings fehl, und so muss Crios
noch viele aufregende Abenteuer bestehen, ehe er zusammen mit seinen
schlagkräftigen Brüdern und den aufbegehrenden Thebanern Kadmos
stürzen und die schöne Antiope zur Frau gewinnen kann. |

Synopsis: Four muscular heroes fight the evil ruler of an

| Synopsis: A
Roman Consul, on his way to fight a border war, stations a garrison of
soldiers in a provincial town. The townspeople aren't happy with this
situation but decide it's in their best interests to cooperate.
However, the Tribune left in charge of the garrison proves to be cruel
and demanding. He takes over a house for his own use and forces his
attentions on Fabiola, the owner's daughter. She reluctantly submits
in order to protect the life of her lover, Brenno, who's already been
publicly whipped and who's been hauled off to the local arena to
provide sport for Roman gladiators. Soon, Brenno and Fabiola's brother
