Credits: Cast || William Russell (II) Sir Lancelot du Lac || Jane Hylton Queen Guinevere || Ronald Leigh-Hunt King Arthur || Cyril Smith (I) Merlin || Peter Bennett (I) Leonides || Bobby Scroggins Brian || Bruce Seaton King Arthur ||

Synopsis: Stories of Knights and Ladies Fair. Of Magic and of Castles. Of the days of King Arthur. Extensive research was conducted, before making this series, to insure the authenticity of the medieval settings. The stories were drawn from the legends of King Arthur's court.

V-1 : The Theft Of Excalibur The sword Excalibur is stolen by a young squire who must produce it as a ransom for his kidnapped father. Merlin the Magician, Sir Lancelot and young squires in training recapture the enchanted weapon. Lady Lilith Sir Lancelot is ordered by King Arthur to recapture the Castle Goodhew from the Lady Lifith. This beautiful but bad tempered wench is at times a blacksmith, mason, chef, and gardener while nearly besting Lancelot. A joyously funny episode.

V-2: FEROCIOUS FATHERS Two elderly Lords have fought for years over the right to a fishing stream... that has dried up. Sir Lancelot becomes a matchmaker to their progeny. MONTAISE FAIR Sir Lancelot tries to determine which of several suspects has attempted to sabotage a colorful medieval fair

V-3: THE UGLY DUCKLING Sir Lancelot helps raise the self esteem of a plain looking girl who goes to extremes to draw attention to herself and away from her beautiful sister. KNIGHT WITH THE RED PLUME Sir Lancelot proves both his ability and loyalty to King Arthur in this story of his first meeting with Arthur and the Magician Merlin.

V-4: THE LESSER BREED Sir Lancelot is enslaved by Vikings as he investigates reports of a sea monster that is terrorizing the village. With help of a lovely young woman he regains his and his fellow prisoners freedom. RUBY OF RADNOR Sir Lancelot must recover the Crown Jewels and the Ruby of Radnor from the evil Sir Thurston in time for their annual display to King Arthur's subjects.

V-5: THE PRINCE OF LIMERICK Sir Lancelot and his squire journey to Ireland where they encounter a self styled poet, "The Prince of Limerick", who has been banished for devising an unflattering rhyme about a Lord. WITCHES BREW Sir Lancelot sets out to discredit a witch who has convinced King Rolph to imprison his son.

Synopsis: Silent picture are SO hard to watch! But A Connecticut Yankee is one of his best talkies. . . the jokes are still funny and relivent today. Who would have thought of Will Rogers as Mark Twain's American Yankee? This movie is timeless! I couldn't love it more. Having been to his museum, I've seen his costume for this film. It kind of made me realize that Will Rogers was a real person, and there was something of his that I get get close to. . . something he'd worn. It made this movie more interesting to me. Of course, not everyone can go see his costume. But at least you can watch this film, and remember one of the greatest Americans who ever lived. This movie is a must see for any Oklahoman, Will Rogers lover, or anyone who likes a good joke! written by: Phantom Chick

King Arthur (2004)
aka Knights of the Roundtable (2003) (USA: working title)
Credits: Directed by: Antoine Fuqua, Writing credits: David Franzoni (written by) + John Lee Hancock (written by). Cast: Clive Owen - King Arthur + Stephen Dillane - Merlin  + Keira Knightley - Guinevere  + Ioan Gruffudd - Lancelot  + Stellan Skarsgård - Cedric  + Ray Winstone - Bors  + Hugh Dancy - Galahad  + Ray Stevenson - Dagonet  + Til Schweiger - Cynric  + Charlie Creed-Miles - Ganis  + Joel Edgerton - Gawain  + Ken Stott - Marcus Honorius  + Ivano Marescotti - Bishop Germanius  + Pat Kinevane - Horton  + Valeria Cavalli - Fulcinia
Synopsis: Based on a more realistic portrayal of "Arthur" than has ever been presented onscreen. The film will focus on the history and politics of the period during which Arthur ruled -- when the Roman empire collapsed and skirmishes over power broke out in outlying countries -- as opposed to the mystical elements of the tale on which past Arthur films have focused. Summary written by Scott Summerton
Although the legend of King Arthur has not been historically established as fact, this film will attempt to place King Arthur within his possible historic context, smack between the fall of the Roman Empire (just a few hundred years after Gladiator) and the long road through the Dark Ages (roughly set in the 5th or 6th centuries). The magic and fantasy of the legend will be absent (Merlin may still be around; just not performing the magic seen in Excalibur).

Merlin (2004)
Credits: Directed by: :Toni Bargallo | David Wilson-Johnson
Synopsis: Enjoy the world premiere of the full and original version of Merlin by Isaac Albeniz, over a century after he completed the work. Albeniz composed this ‘Wagnerian’ opera to an English libretto by his patron Francis Burdett Money-Coutts between 1898 and 1902. Many believed the score was lost, until the conductor Jose de Eusebio reconstructed it from various manuscript sources and publishers’ proofs. For this stunning production, director John Dew created a world of magic and fantasy, using evocative sets and splendid lighting.
