Synopsis:
The rich Laila (Bhanumathi) loves poor
Qais (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) who is accused of insanity (majnU) by
her family. She is sent off to Iraq so that she can never meet Qais
again, but in a reversal of the usual tragedy, she ends up meeting and
uniting with her lover in the desert. This is the first Telugu version
of the classic sufi legend extensively filmed in Hindi. Bhanumathi
claims that the she composed those songs in the film that were sung by
her. The famous dancer-sisters duo Lalitha and Padmini made debut with

Synopsis:
in the center of a dry desert grow up Layla in a calm Oasis that lays
on the old city of Memphis, it is the Vilage of Rao'f bec who see her
and flurts with her but she loves another "Ahmed" who previously saved
her from a guy named Salim when he tried to rape her. Ahmad and Layla
get engaged, but Ahmad know a Brazilian girl and runs away with her
leaving layla with a baby bastard in her womb, Layla is disgraced and
runs away but she is hit by a car that appears to be Rao'f's who
carries her to his home where she give birth and dies. |
