Synopsis:  Hajji, the beggar-magician (Otis Skinner) cons his way into the palace, where he enjoys the amorous attentions of Marjis (Mathilde Comont), the wazir's wife. Hajji manages to secure the marriage of his daughter Marsinah (Eleanor Fair) to the young Caliph Abdullah (Leon Bary), rid the land of the evil Wazir Mansur (Emmett C. King), and bedeck himself in splendiferous clothing, all between sunrise and sunset. Otis Skinner had made a career of playing Hajji in stage versions of Kismet since he premiered in the role in 1911; he was 61 when he appeared in this film.
